Neeve Moule Drige

Neeve May Lee Moule Drige is a French artist from Toulouse, known as May Lee, a graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Since 2023 she has traveled again and again to Shaolin Temple in Henan, to train in Gongfu.

Painting is her first language; the body is her second. She works with water directly, with as little technique as she can manage, reaching for something closer to music than to drawing — a question of breath, rhythm, and weight. Her training runs through it: the discipline of the body became a way to make artworks, and the artworks, in turn, a way to move.
