Shipping policy

This handmade fabric flower stem is made to live in a vase. The lily stands on a wired stem about 14 inches (360 mm) tall, so it holds itself in a narrow-necked bottle or a shallow bowl — no water, no wilting, no petals to sweep up. Let it stand alone, or pair it with other stems in one vessel; it keeps the same posture for years.

Each bloom is shaped entirely by hand: petals cut from satin, tinted with mineral pigment, pressed into curve and assembled one by one over three to five days. Hand-shaping means no two stems are identical — height, angle and bloom vary slightly, piece to piece.

Every petal is twisted strand by strand. There are no preformed moulds.
Countless fine silk threads are shaped by hand into soft, layered forms.

What exactly is a "stem" style flower?

It's the vase version of our textile flowers: the bloom is made on a long stem instead of a brooch pin, so you can stand it in a vase. Nothing needs water, and the vase itself is not included.

How should I take care of my textile stem?

No water and no washing: dust it with a soft brush, keep it out of long spells of direct sun, and reshape the stem slowly by hand if it bends.
